It's Okay

Sometimes what you least want in life is what you need the most. It weakens you, makes you feel vulnerable. But at the same time it gives you strength, hope and longing for tomorrow. Your pain and your cure, your strength and your weakness, your heavenly dream and your dreadful nightmare. Beyond your insecurities, beneath your pride, there's a troubled soul  thirsty for more. Thirsty for containment, for safety. Thirsty for affection, thirsty for love. Nourish this soul, your soul. Nurture it and watch it blossom. Have no fear of the unknown, tomorrow will always carry the best for you. Do not fear failure, it's okay to cry, it's okay to regret, it's okay to fall. What's important is to be able to stand back on your feet. It's okay to get disappointed, deceived or broken. Our mistakes of the past engrave us into the people we are today. It's okay to rely on someone else but yourself, need someone to derive your strength from. Only fear yourself and the fortress where you've locked yourself. Break free, take risks, fall in love and be loved in return.

Sincerely,
The girl who built her walls so high

A Worn Out Soul

They wonder why we're so messed up, mentally exhausted, emotionally damaged and broken inside out. They can't understand that they're the ones who caused us so much pain. We wonder why we've been through all of this, why us? Stuck between if it's a blessing or a curse. We start doubting our ability, our ability to endure, to cope and to live with it. Living with the fear of the consequences and what's right to do. Stop caring and breaking bad, breaking free? Or just keep on enduring and waiting? But waiting for what? A saviour maybe? A guardian angel? Or for things to magically get fixed all on their own? And what about our own selves? Will we be able to live with the ghosts we're turning into? Broken, hallow and lifeless souls we are. Carrying our pain as it saturates, till bursting out into tears and emotionally exploding become pointless and useless. Is it fair to live a lifeless life? Are we even still alive when the only life indicator is breathing in and out? It's quite worrying when you start thinking that your life is more lifeless than death itself.
